208 pages, plus 30 hand colored plates. Green cloth covers with paper spine label. Label is rubbed, though lettering remains legible. Top hinge is broke, and covers pull from spine. Bottom hinge remains tight. Foxing affecting first and last few leaves. Other very light foxing throughout, though plates are generally clean.

London Henry G. Bohn Cloth - Hard Cover Fair No Jacket 12mo 
331 pages, plus plates. Although contents calls for a total of 38 plates, only 37 were collated, being the frontispiece, the hand colored first title page, five black and white plates, three plates only partially colored, and 27 plates with colored images. Plate 29 was not found. Plate 18 was mispaginated. Two different plates were identified as No. 13. There are a few small library marks on second title page and verso, though no other library marks internal or external. Blind and gilt stamped red cloth covers are worn, with faded lettering and weakened joints and hinges. First two leaves are loosened, though attached. Volume otherwise is fairly tight and contents are clean.

Spine is a little faded, and covers are rubbed and show a little wear at spine ends and corners. First plate, opposite title page, is torn out, though laid in place. Volume remains tight and other contents are clean and intact. All plates are accounted for and in very good condition.
