Volume remains tight and generally clean.

Raised spine bands and no lettering or decoration on spine. Scattered mostly light, but sometimes moderate, foxing and offsetting. A previous booksellers penciled notations on blank page following free end leaf. Circular inked institutional stamp on title page. Covers remain Fine, and volume is overall tight and intact.

Full Leather Fair No Dust Jacket 
No date, though circa mid-late 18th century. 144 leaves (288 pages) on velum leaves, bound in leather. Sinew tied. Mostly black lettering, though with some in red. One full page illustration in color of Madonna and Child. There are a few decorative breaks between sections of text. Written in Ge'ez, an ancient South Semitic language originating in Eritrea and the northern region of Ethiopia. Once the official language of Aksum and Ethiopia, it now remains primarily used in the liturgy of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, and to a lesser degree by the Beta Israel Jewish Community (Wikipedi, 2017). Bottom cover is lacking, though all contents appear present. The first leaf is heavily rubbed and mostly illegible. Remaining contents show age, a little rubbing, and scattered markings, though are clear and legible. Estimated to be mid to late 18th century based upon examination of other volumes determined or known to be of this period. Volume is now housed in a leather carrying bag likely reminiscent of its original, though likely made in the mid to late 20th century.

Art Deco / Arts and Crafts style. Top edge is gilded. Numerous color plates. Spines are slightly faded and covers show scattered light scuffs. Light wear at corners. Previous owners book plate on front paste down of all three volumes. Presentation ticket is tipped to front free end page. Due to the weight of this three volume set, additional fees will be requested for Priority and/or International shipping.

15 pages, plus additional plates. This copy was rebound by Frank C. Deering (1866-1939; Saco, Maine; Deering Lumber Company) shortly after publication, and included eight additional illustrations/plates. The volume is in half brown polished leather with raised spine bands and gilt stamped lettering and ruling. Brown, marbled, paper covers the remainder of the boards. End leaves are marbled, and the front paste down sports a small leather book plate of Frank C. Deering. A small sheet is laid in, detailing the extra illustrations: 1 coloured plate; 1 title page, mounted; 4 steel engravings; 2 lithographs. Slight wear on edges and a couple very slight scuffs on covers. Volume remains bright, very clean, and otherwise in lovely condition.

Volumes are otherwise tight and clean, with attractive shelf appeal.
