Covers show light rubbing on edges. Pages 3-10, on one signature, are loosened, though laid in place. Scattered, mostly light, foxing, though fairly heavy on frontispiece portrait. Frontispiece also shows smudges and two small ink spots not affecting image. Volume is otherwise solid and intact.

Hinges are been poorly reinforced with binder's tape. There is a clipped catalog listing for this title affixed to the front paste down. End leaves with some chips on edges. Half title page is detached, though in place. Volume is otherwise tight and clean.

Both jackets remain bright and clean, though show very slight rubbing, and there is a very slight dime sized discoloration where price stickers were removed from the inside flaps. Jackets are now protected in clear mylar sleeve.

There are several ink stamps of the previous owner, and very light general use/wear. Dust jacket is heavily chipped and rear flap is detached. All lettering on jacket remains good. Jacket is now protected and held together in a clear mylar sleeve.
