Front cover shows a one inch closed tear, a corner crease, and general edge wear. First and last leaves show some foxing and there is general light age toning throughout. Volume remains tight and is otherwise clean.

454 & 455-933 pages. Textured leather over spines and corners, with gilt stamped lettering and slightly raised spine bands. Covers are rubbed and there is scattered light wear, mostly along edges. Both volume remain tight and are internally in very nice condition.

454 & 455-933 pages. Later black cloth library type binding, with gilt lettering on spines. Cloth shows some rubbing and a few scattered scuffs. Book plate on front paste downs. Front hinge of volume I, and rear hinge of volume II are cracked, and there is some looseness of text block from covers. Text blocks remain tight, however. There are just a few very small chips on a couple of the pages. Otherwise, text remains clean and intact. Good working or binding copy.
