Letter, dated Mar. 9, 1911, is to Kansas farmer William Thomas of Meriden, Kansas and reads: "My dear Mr. Thomas:- / Your letter of recent date came duly to hand, and I was glad to hear from you and note what you say about reciprocity with Canada. Personally, I have always opposed reciprocity with Canada on farm products believing we were giving more than we received in return, but I am anxious to hear from the people of Kansas in order that I may vote their sentiments. / Hoping to hear from you whenever I can be of service to yourself or friends, I am / very truly, Charles Curtis"; Folded letter remains fine, though envelope shows some wear.
