By: Hayden, Chester

Price: $375.00

Quantity: 1 available

Book Condition: Fair

Copyright is 1849. 409 pages. Full leather covers are heavily scuffed and show general wear. There are tears along joints of top board and spine at both ends, and there is a one inch portion of leather torn away from head of spine. Leather spine labels show some wear, though lettering remains legible. Front hinge (internal) is cracked and there is slight loosening and a couple of signatures are sprung. Text block remains fairly tight and well attached to covers. Two leaves in index (pages 395/96 and 397/98) have a large, closed tear. Scattered foxing, mostly at front and rear, and scattered moisture stains/tide marks, mostly near edges. Complete and very legible. Working or perhaps binding copy of this very scarce work of which WorldCat currently shows only four copies of.
