345 pages with eight hand colored illustrations. Blind stamped, red cloth covers show general rubbing and are worn along edges. Spine cover is partially loosened and shows chipping at ends and joints. Gilt lettering and decoration on spine is faded. Gilt decoration on front cover is a slightly faded, though remains intact and clear. Text block has a crack near center, though contents remain tight. Hinges (internal) are good. Scattered light smudges and very light soiling. There is a poorly done, ink drawing, on the verso of the illustration titled "An Indian Chief. Contents are otherwise intact.
