Large folding map, measuring approximately 22.5 x 29 inches, folded into a pocket sized cloth binder. Publication date is 1857, though it is stated to have been entered as an Act of Congress in 1856 and signed off by Robert Ream, Chief Clerk of the Surveyor Gen's Office, in 1856. Gilt stamped lettering on top cover and blind stamped on bottom. Brown cloth is rubbed and there is a little wear at spine ends and corners. Gilt is faded, though remains clear.
