Pebbled cloth with blind stamped decoration and gilt stamped lettering. Leather over spine and corners. LACKING pocket with maps of OTTAWA. Collated and otherwise complete. Covers are mostly detached. Moisture stains and wear are seen along the edges of all contents, though mostly not affecting map images. A couple maps with general fairly light soiling across image. Collated and complete with all maps, photo pages, surveys, etc. Unidentified portrait and building photo are laid in (as they were when I acquired the atlas). Covers are worn around edges and there is some separation from text block. Scattered, mostly light, soiling throughout. There are a few closed tears, with one in the map of Oxford penetrating the border. Maps are generally very clean and intact.
