166 pages, plus index and ads. Blue cloth covers show scattered light wear. Light wear is seen at the spine ends and corners, and there are some smudges on the bottom cover. There is a small hole (perhaps from a bb gun) in the center of the top cover affecting the a in Doniphan. The lower outside corner of the front free end leaf, the front fly leaf, and the first leaf of ads has a large tear with paper loss. No text is missing, but the tear on the ads page enters the border. There are scattered ink stamps of a previous owner seen on the end leaves and at the top of the title page. Top ... View More...
No date of publication or copyright, though this copy is inscribed by the author and there are several minor corrections in the text believed to be in his hand and including a publication date of 1911. Author's inscription on inside of front cover reads in full "Compliments of / Geo. J. Remsburg / Porterville, Calif. / 3/31/'29." Covers are worn and show stains and tears.
